Investigating The Impact of our Environment on Brain Development throughout the Life-course

The Center for Neuroexposomics seeks to understand the relationship between the internal and external exposome and brain health throughout the life-course

OUR RESEARCH OUR TECHNIQUES OUR TEAM

In the Horton Lab, we strive to identify mechanisms and understand risk and protective factors underlying environmentally-associated impacts on brain health throughout the lifecourse. Our multidisciplinary research group integrates exposure science, environmental epidemiology, neuroimaging, biostatistics and neuropsychology. Our objective is to inform meaningful changes in policies and practices to protect and build healthier, more just communities. We are based at the Department of Environmental Health Sciences at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
